Mike Galindo Productions Purchases Oakland Salsa And Bachata Meetup
UNION CITY, California (May 23, 2022) – Mike Galindo is a leading entrepreneur, DJ, and dance instructor in the Bay Area. When presented with the opportunity to own a piece of history – he jumped on it.
When Latin Connection Dance opened in October 2014, Ruth Caspary decided to create her own dance company in response to the ending of a partnership. Ruth, a master instructor, used her teaching, marketing, and creative talents to build the Oakland Salsa And Bachata Meetup group over the past 10+ years resulting in 5293 members. During the 2020 pandemic, Ruth decided to start with a new beginning and moved to Oregon to begin her new chapter in her life but was left with a dilemma about what to do with the digital asset that she worked so hard to build. After considering all options, she decided to reach out to her good friend and business associate, Michael Galindo of Mike Galindo Productions, since she knew his professionalism, high-quality digital marketing skills, and overall mission aligned with Latin Connection Dance. After working out the details of the transition, the deal was done.
